Why Bose product activation failed? ›

This message appears if your product is unable to connect to the Internet or to your Bose Music account. Try these suggestions to resolve the issue. If the Bose app is not the latest version, it might be missing features or improvements.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth permissions for the Bose app. Go to Settings, then scroll down and select the Bose app. Under Allow Bose Music To Access, enable Bluetooth.

A connection may have come loose or may be incorrect. Check the seating and location of the interconnect cables at both ends. For information system connections, see Setting up your product.

If the pairing is not working, it is typically because it is being performed incorrectly, or the product may need to be reset, updated, or may not be compatible with the soundbar. Soundbars will only pair to a bluetooth device that plays audio, like a TV, tablet, or phone.

Electronics, such as cell phones, tablets or computers, might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. This is typically done by turning the device off, then powering it on again.

How do I pair my Bose with my TV? ›

Try moving the device and product closer together. Bluetooth range is about 33' (10 m); however, range can be reduced by interference, like walls, metal, doors or other Bluetooth devices in the area. Check if the issue is resolved when your Bluetooth device and product are in close proximity.

Press and hold the Power switch all the way to the right (toward he Bluetooth® icon) and hold it there until the Bluetooth light is blinking blue. If you're wearing your headphones, you'll hear "Ready to connect." In the Bose app, from the "My Bose" screen, tap the + button.
