Chapter Text

The wind above the mountain blew into his ear. He scanned the opposite side of the gorge for a new route to climb, much to the dismay of the demonesses who already had to heal him a couple times. Demi-Fiend’s eyes traced the wall along a curve point, behind which stood a trailer where he walked on a guy jerking off. And not in an awkward ugly way, but cinematically, with an arching back and subtle erotic posing and stuff.

It wasn’t that big a deal. Demi-Fiend was startled because he just forgot it’s what people do. Seeking pleasure was a privilege he no longer could afford since his world got destroyed. Pleasure and fear were two primal vulnerabilities demons preyed upon the most, so it was pretty easy for Demi-Fiend to let go of sexual desires, since he never had much to begin with. The last one of the very few who made her way into his nightly thoughts was Chiaki, but then The Conception put a last nail in a coffin. Succubi had nothing on him.

Damn, Kei had it that easy, huh? Seemed like the dude got quite cozy in the f*cking Netherworld, of all places, if he willingly stripped himself off his power just to beat his meat.

“Oh! Oh, this one could work… Yeah, looks climbable.”

Demi-Fiend jumped off a cliff into echoes of women’s annoyed groans. His tattoos turned red as he heard the creamy cracks of his shattering bones. The demoness nearest to him clicked her tongue and waved some healing sparkles his way. He waited for Diarahan to kick in, then stood up.

- Thanks, ma’am.

- In the name of Lord Shiva, if we see you climb one more time…

- All complaints to the managers, - he already locked in on a trail he saw from above and was making his way to it, - if you don’t want me over here, make Aogami to let me go already.

Where was he, by the way? Demi-Fiend looked around, but no 2 meter tall robot was in the vicinity. Right before his gears could start spinning, the blue shape appeared out of a corner. Nahobino waved at his team members. His movements, his entire demeanor, Demi-Fiend immediately noticed, were stiff and shy. Demonesses wasted no time to start teasing him about the blush on his cheeks and a wide stare. Nahobino side eyed Demi-Fiend for the briefest moment and turned away immediately, yapping something to his crew.

Demi-Fiend walked up to him eventually, as the speech seemed important, actually. He stayed out of the armored boy’s line of sight, though, to not strain him further.

- I got called by Amatsukami, so I need to make my way to the leyline fount. Clotho, Sarasvati and… Cybele. You’re coming with me, - Demi-Fiend thought he misheard it, but no. The blue skinned lady floated closer to Nahobino and bowed. - Everyone else, you’re dismissed. You can remain here, though, we will need to regroup once again after I return from the meeting.

Demi-Fiend forced Nahobino to face him by pulling on his shoulder.

- What the f*ck, dude?! Didn’t you promise I would always be on the team?

Nahobino mumbled something incoherent without looking the demon in the face, then just rushed out of the gorge. Someone giggled.

- Oooh, lovers’ quarrel?! What happened, Mister Climber?

Demi-Fiend’s eyes followed the party out.

- He f*cked up but I’m the one who’s being punished… Aah, and we’re not lovers, ma’am.

- Whaa?.. Oh, I see, I see. Mkaaaay, if you say so.

The self-assured tone pissed him off. He plopped on the bench once again, the same one he and Nahobino sat on a few moon cycles ago. What was the point of all that ass-kissing and hugging if he was willing to break his promise because of a couple of awkward seconds? Hell, Demi-Fiend didn’t even see the main part! If such bullsh*t could set him off, what if the stakes were much, much higher? Would he discard his strongest ally too? Or even go against him again?

In any case, if Nahobino broke his promise, why should Demi-Fiend keep his?

- Pixie.

His flying companion appeared out of thin air.

- Hi hi hi, Demi-Fiend! I was just about to return! How’re you doing?

That was a silly question. Demi-Fiend gently smiled.

- … How are you doing, butterfly? Are you bored of following that prick around?

- Oh, no, I’m quite used to following pricks!

- Hey, rude! I was about to invite you to a rendezvous to an Abscess but nevermind, I guess.

- Woah, woah, woah, what?! Just the two of us, like in old times?

- Yep, like in old times.

Pixie squealed and rolled in the air.

- You know what? I found something that might help us!

She handed him a tiny polished Bead - a capsule that held an enormous healing magic. Demi-Fiend quickly checked how many healing items he had in total - two Beads, two Life Stones and a couple of pills against mind-altering spells. Pixie observed them with him.

- Are you sure that’s enough?

- Eh, you can still cast Dia, right?

- Yes, but didn’t you whine all the time that it wasn’t working well for you anymore?

- Well, if I do that again, remind me it’s that or nothing.

Demi-Fiend stood up with a grandpa’s groan and the pair left the gorge.

They nuked that goddamn flower into the skies.

The demon fell on the ground and crawled on his back into a wall. His tattoos were colored red, emanating light not bright enough to illuminate the tall dome-like hollow in the mountain. He looked at his purple fist that got fractured with his last strike. Demon’s quiet laugh echoed all over the stone walls.

“I don’t get what the hell was all that fuss about.”

Pixie was done absorbing her half of Magatsuhi. She took a deep breath.

- You were sooooo cool, Demi-Fiend!!! You were like ha! Rrah! Hi-yah! - Pixie floated around and shadowboxed her panther’s limp body, - and the next wave came and you were like “Fffuuuuuuuudge…” but then you stepped so hard the mountain trembled and everyone flew!

Pixie touched his stomach with her foot and the cooling feeling all over his body parts finally began settling in. He only then noticed the sparkling sounds coming from Pixie’s fists.

- Damn, boy, you seriously need to slow down on healing spells. Dia barely affects you anymore and I’m going out of Mana, aaaagh.

- It’s fine, just keep healing until the lights go green.

- But will you be able to walk to the haunt?

- Heh, did you forget who you're dealing with?

Pixie sighed and shot a couple more sparkles into his legs until her Mana completely ran out. The tattoos slowly turned back cyan and Pixie’s mind eased. She sat on his chest with her legs crossed, looking straight into his eyes.

- So, while we’re waiting for spells to work, can you tell me what’s up?

- I’m good, it just sucks that my wrist is broken-

- Silly Demi-Fiend, I’m talking about you and the blue guy! He told us not to fight alone but we did, so what gives? Are you upset at him?

Demi-Fiend tried to stand up but his muscles still refused to budge and the sharp pain flowed down from his neck to his core, then to his heels. He clenched his teeth and carefully lied down again.

- Yeah. I caught him doing some embarrassing stuff and he benched me without saying a word. I didn’t even get a chance to smooth things out. You and I know how I am when I have too much free time to think about stuff.

- Aww…

- I came to the conclusion I can’t fully trust anyone but you, after all. We joined him so he would help us go back home, yet he does nothing but orders me around. Maybe he was right, maybe he’s useless to us, after all.

Pixie put her head on her hand and stayed silent. She had that hesitating expression on her face when she had words to say that might make the conversation more serious than her aloof nature could handle. She puckered her lips and sighed through them, then braced herself and finally spoke.

- Wasn’t he right, though? Look at you. Your wrist is broken, you can barely breath and can’t even stand up.

- I’m barely breathing because you’re sitting on my lungs, smartass. It could’ve gone easier if I had a decent healer with me.

- And it could’ve gone in a flash if you went together, as a whole team!

- Oh, so you’re on his side now, huh?

- You’re both on the same side, dumb-dumb… You just suck at talking. He looks up to you and clearly likes you, so of course he’s going to get shy if you see him mess up.

- Uh huh, he looks up to me, then calls me by my human name and tries to control me.

- Well, does he know why it makes you so upset?

That dude didn’t know sh*t about Demi-Fiend. The demon gradually started talking to Nahobino, providing him only with things he needed to know. They only got closer recently, so Demi-Fiend just didn’t have time to unleash all that mental f*ckery onto him.

- … Not really, I guess.

- See? He thinks you’re a stuck-up workaholic and wants you to take a breather. You never told him you’d start eating yourself if taking a breather takes too long.

- Hell yeah, I didn’t! That would be a f*cking pathetic thing to admit! “Aww, Nawobino, I’m the King of Cwaos and if I get fwashbacks from Vowtex Wowld I will stawt kiwwing myshelf.” What would he think of me?

- Aawww, so you do care what he thinks! I knew you liked him!

- Girl.

- Mwehehehe! But really, do you reeeally think he would be disappointed in you? He’s always been so nice! Well, except the part when he barged in the Hall of Chaos and demanded a fight for no reason. But you’ve done it all the time back home, too!

Pixie’s words made him look back at their history with Nahobino. Yeah, come to think of it, he was pretty nice. He treated his crew well, too, asked them if they're tired, and put an effort to find a spacious and cozy place for everyone to rest. Demi-Fiend’s relationship with his own demons was more army-like, while Nahobino treated his ones like hiking buddies. Still…

- I can never be too sure, Pixie. Chiaki, Isamu and Hijiri were nice too. I don’t think I could handle yet another betrayal.

- Let him know about it!

- No.

- Either that, or you both are going to quarrel over stupid stuff forever, even after marriage.

- Tsk, what’s with you all?! - Demi-Fiend grabbed hysterically laughing Pixie and stood up despite the lingering dull pain pulsating through his body.

- Can you walk?

- Let’s go.

Nahobino hasn’t returned to the haunt yet. Demi-Fiend washed off the desert dust and demon’s blood off in the pond under the eyes of the remaining crewmembers. They must’ve heard the noise of battle and the disintegrating nest echoing through mountains. Nobody confronted him, though, which was good enough. One demoness noticed his awfully swollen wrist and casted a healing spell.

- Thanks, ma’am.

- Nahobino will hear of this, boy.

- Oooh, scary.

He let Pixie take off for the item haunt and went to the trailer. The Demi-Fiend finally took a proper look inside the place. The bed was just a frame and a stained old mattress, covered by one of the curtains. The walls were covered in rust. The furniture was broken, the cupboard doors were unscrewed. He lied down on the nasty bed and stared at the roof.

“Who, in their right mind, would get horny here?”

Granted, he didn’t pay attention to any of that when he spotted Kei. Maybe, it didn’t matter to the guy either. Maybe he was so aroused he grabbed the first opportunity he had. Demi-Fiend recalled Kei and Aogami talking before the former went to sleep and how awkward the boy seemed.

“Bet he was making excuses so he wouldn’t have to touch himself with metallic fingers.”

Demi-Fiend laughed to himself, then his smile faded.

“Damn, he overreacted for sure, but look at me. Got benched once and had a f*cking breakdown. Ew.”

Maybe, he did care for the boy’s opinion of him. Maybe he wanted to seem strong, cool and reliable. Irreplaceable.

“Didn’t he already imply that? Yeah, but then turned around and acted the opposite.”

He recalled Pixie’s words: “He clearly likes you, so of course he’s going to get shy if you see him mess up”. Wait, was it Nahobino who messed up, or Demi-Fiend, who didn’t bother to knock? Maybe he wasn’t embarrassed, maybe he was angry at Demi-Fiend for walking on him during an intimate moment? Didn’t that mean Demi-Fiend was the one who f*cked up all along and acted like a little bitch about it? The boy groaned into the mattress as if someone kicked him in the balls of realization.

“That was my bad.”

One thing that didn’t add up was Nahobino’s reaction. He didn’t look angry one bit after the situation, he was blushing and fidgeting like an anime girl. And it’s not like he couldn’t express his anger properly, that much he knows from the Hall of Chaos.

Despite the swarm of thoughts and memories buzzing in his head, his mind started drifting away, and all the annoying thoughts slowly disappeared in a fog. His dream would’ve been so weird, perhaps, but demons didn’t have those.

Demi-Fiend got woken up by some weird movements around his legs. He opened his eyes and looked around. Nahobino sat on the edge of the bed, holding his hair in both hands, trying not to touch the demon with them. The boy pushed back off the mattress and pinned surprised Nahobino against a trailer’s wall.

- Unfuse. We need to talk about awkward stuff.

Nahobino huffed, but his cheeks already turned pink.

- We will come back to that later. An Abscess I was getting ready to eliminate was destroyed when we got there.

- Oh, sh*t, I forgot about it.

- Demi-Fiend! Let me guess, you and Pixie gobbled up the amount of Magatsuhi that would have fed my whole roster, didn’t you?

- Oh, f*ck, you had that in mind, too…

Nahobino sighed and pushed Demi-Fiend away.

- I was more worried about your safety, of course. Silky told me that you weren’t fully healed when you returned and your hand was broken, - he took the right hand in his and inspected the already healthy looking knuckles and fingers. - I know that was childish of me to run away like that. I just wasn't ready to face you yet, but then Amatsukami called and told me to return ASAP. I panicked.

- What did they want from you, anyway?

- There was a nasty accident. Some demon put a charm spell on a crew of employees and the fight broke out in HQ. I was called to deal with demons who sneaked in during all the mess. Then there were investigations, board meetings about safety regulations, the boring stuff. And then I return and learn you defeated an Abscess and looked like a limping stray unspecified creature when you came back.

Demi-Fiend turned his stare into a corner.

- … Sorry. I just- Dude, you need to unfuse. I’m serious.

Nahobino touched his earpiece and closed his eyes. He sat still for a minute, then nodded. His body got engulfed by light for a moment, then the demon heard a thud. Aogami bonked the roof with his head. He frowned light-heartedly at boys’ chuckles and looked Demi-Fiend in the eyes.

- I leave Amemura in your care. In case of emergency, seek me immediately. I will make sure no one disturbs you both.

Proto-Fiend slouched and left the trailer. Kei pulled the window curtain to the side and both boys waited for him to disappear around the corner. When he did, the human boy turned around and they met each other’s eyes. Kei broke the contact immediately and his round cheeks got red once again.

- S-so, about that…

- Kei, I wanna explain somethin’. It’s gonna sound kinda pathetic but don’t give me any weird looks, ‘kay?

The long boy looked surprised. He nodded and Demi-Fiend took a deep breath.

- I’ve told you about the sh*t I went through during the Conception, right? Well, uhh… - Demi-Fiend got distracted by gentle strokes on his hand that was still in Kei’s. The boy was just listening and didn’t seem to be conscious of his movements. - When I have nothing to do, I can’t help but recall some of this stuff. And when I think too much about it, like, reflect on it, or something, my brain implodes. So when I asked you to give me some job to do, it wasn’t because I didn’t want to relax, it’s just that I can only relax when I can keep my mind off the past. I, uuh, know you meant well and stuff, but yeah…

- Oh God, I’m so sorry…

Kei looked down, absolutely distraught. He squeezed the demon’s hand and shook his head.

- I needed to be more attentive… I just thought you’re always on high alert and the closed off space seemed dangerous to you, or something like that. Is this connected to why you don’t like me to call you by name?

“By my human name”, he almost said.

He was no longer Naoki, after all. Not that gullible, hot-headed delinquent with a kind heart. Naoki was a strong human, but not enough to survive the cruelty of Conception. The more Magatama he ate, the deeper in the Labyrinth he delved, the more lives he took, it all chipped away from that strong soul, little by little. He was slowly being replaced by something stronger, but worse. It was easier to claim that person was dead. Only that way could Demi-Fiend look back at the past.

- Yes. Naoki was a great guy. So don’t lump us together.

- But you’re still a great guy…

Demi-Fiend squinted his eyes at Kei and took his hand out of another’s grip.

-Be for f*cking real, dude.

- I’m serious! You have no idea how much I admire you! - Kei’s voice trembled. - You went through so many adversities, went against both The Devil and The God, got sent to another dimension in ruins and persisted. To learn you were a human was like witnessing the legend being written! It was a ray of hope that, maybe, I can do this too. Maybe I can survive this until the end and remain myself. And after that hope sparked in me, you told me you were reborn as a demon. For you, it must’ve been a necessary choice, but for me, hearing that was gut-wrenching.

Demi-Fiend’s head spun. Did he really deserve such praise? Him and Naoki weren't worthy of making an example of. He imagined Kei in his circ*mstances, this timid highschooler with the most sparkling oceanic eyes being fed Magatama, thrown into Mantra court, going into the Labyrinth… Da’at was cruel enough, too, but the spark, as long as the spark in his eyes still shined, his will was either stronger than Naoki’s or this world hadn't given him the true struggle yet.

- I hope you won’t meet the same fate as me. Stay as you are.

- I will…You know what? I will prove that no fate can take your humanity away, Demi-Fiend. And when I do, you will be reborn again. The old Naoki Kashima may be gone, but the new one will be stronger.

Demi-Fiend laughed to himself.

- It’s a deal.

Kei hooked his hands around Demi-Fiend’s neck and ever so slightly nudged him forward. Demi-Fiend resisted just for a moment before letting himself fall into the boy’s chest. The warmth radiating from his body, the softness of his fingertips combing through raven black hair were like a spell. Demi-Fiend wanted to resist more: he wasn’t supposed to feel so comfortable, that made him vulnerable, he should never lose caution. He also wanted Kei to go on.

Something felt familiar in his chest. Something that just slightly loosened the chains on his heart and he could breathe more freely. It reassured him that it was okay to put his guard down and follow his truest desires, even if for a brief moment.

“It’s just like with Pixie.”

It was a feeling of fondness.

Goddammit.

As much as he’d prefer to roll his eyes and tell himself to forget about it, the gentle ruffling of his hair and the falling and rising of the other’s boy chest didn’t let him. The boy had the opportunity to stab him or snap his neck - Demi-Fiend didn’t care anymore.

He turned his head and looked at Kei’s face, cheek still glued to his chest. The boy’s wore a calm smile but giggled after their eyes met.

- Wow, you look so cute right now.

Demi-Fiend frowned.

- You’re talking to the King of Chaos, human.

- Oof, that only made you even cuter, I’m afraid.

Damn. Demi-Fiend was under the assumption that Kei would be wary of even staying one-on-one with a demon, given his weak complexion, but the cheeky bastard felt in the zone, teasing the creature that could very well snap him in half. Kei’s breath hitched when he got pinched under ribs for such audacity. The comeback was quick - Demi-Fiend just laughed at the attempt to cause even a slight sting. Still, something mean woke up inside him. Was he stupid, trying to keep up with their banter without Aogami’s strength to back it up?

Kei got pulled down and pinned down to the mattress. Wasn’t so careless anymore, huh? His eyes widened and he gasped slightly, but it wasn’t fear. Demi-Fiend looked down on the boy under him, observed how his eyes wandered in awe over his arms, his shoulders, his lips, neck, chest. They locked eyes again. No, it wasn’t fear. It was anticipation.

The hell were they even doing? Demi-Fiend wanted to give him a little spook, but the boy was lying under him completely relaxed, without even a hint of struggle against the demon’s grip. Kei trusted him. Whatever he was waiting for, he knew Demi-Fiend wouldn’t harm him. Such simple truth, yet so inadequate to believe in. Demi-Fiend chuckled under his breath. In response, the other boy bit his lip, which flustered the demon even further.

- D-Demi-Fiend… - Kei whispered with an unhidden longing. His sigh trembled when tattooed hands tightened their grip out of surprise. - What are you waiting for?

It wasn’t like with Pixie at all, what the heck? His voice, his gaze were so tempting, so obvious now, but caused no apprehension from the boy on top of him, who only heard this kind of tone from creatures trying to kill him. Well, this one wouldn’t be able to do it even if he really tried. Not with those skinny wrists. Demi-Fiend loosened his grip. Kei looked at the red marks on his hands left by demonic grasp and back at the frozen hesitating demon who now looked much like an inexperienced teenager. He reached out for an embrace once again, and the demon obliged, slowly placing his weight on top of the boy.

- I thought you’d be disgusted with me after that incident.

- Wh-? Ah, that. It’s fine. I should’ve knocked.

- Oh, so… You don't mind that I- y’know… c-called your name?

Demi-Fiend didn’t know. His body got stiff.

- Wha?..

Kei’s body got stiff too.

- Wait, y-you didn’t hear it?!

- I heard a sound, yeah, but not my name. Ya perv, hahaha!

Suddenly, all Kei’s confidence evaporated. He finally began his futile struggle against the demon, but it was too late. He dug his own grave. Demi-Fiend simply locked him in place with his own body and watched with an almost sad*stic grin as the boy’s dignity melted with every second, as well as his strength. Kei slowly stopped trying to escape and panted slowly, avoiding eye contact with an amused demon.

- So, were you imagining something like this?

Kei whined desperately as a last resort to make Demi-Fiend take pity on him, but demons are a cruel kind. The tattooed one leaned his face closer and poked the plump rosy cheek with his nose. After nudging at that cute face a little more, the King of Chaos gently smooched the soft flesh. Kei wanted to reciprocate, but Demi-Fiend still demanded an answer with a co*cky smile.

- I, uh… I pictured myself on top, heh… S-Sorry.

- Oh, no probs.

Demi-Fiend grabbed the boy’s jacket and quickly turned them both around as the boy squealed in surprise. As his head hit the mattress, he realized it wasn’t the best position, because his horn on the nape never let him sleep on the back. Oh, well. He just turned his head and stared at his partner sideways. Kei, as soon as the disorientation wore off, was left straddling the demon. He stared at the view below him and froze, his hands hanging in the air.

- I know, right?

Demi-Fiend moved Kei’s hands and began unbuttoning the embroidered gakuran, slowly revealing a crumpled plain white shirt a size bigger than needed. Kei eagerly started unbuttoning the second layer of the uniform while the demon was tossing a jacket. On the fourth button, he was stopped.

- Wait, wait, stay like this, this is kinda hot.

Kei didn’t really want to look so messy, in an unironed oversized shirt left partly buttoned, but his mind went blank when Demi-Fiend said the latter part. Kei was called cute, pretty, beautiful, but never hot. The boy sighed and let the shirt slip off his shoulder a little, aiming to put on a little show for the King of Chaos.

Demi-Fiend fixed the fallen collar and yanked at it, causing Kei to topple over right into the demon's kiss.

The boy shifted, pressing his hips on the other’s and finally taking the initiative back. The shyness slowly began fading away and pure desire was taking its place. Demi-Fiend closed his eyes and just let Kei claim his mouth. The boy peppered him with fast and eager kisses, occasionally letting his tongue take a lick or dive a little deeper. His hands stroked the tattoos that traced the cheekbones and disappeared behind the ears. Demi-Fiend’s breath got heavier as the boy’s tongue circled his and a pressure rubbed between their hips. The demon reciprocated. He hugged the teen’s waist, crumpling the shirt even more and ruining the tuck, and guided him further down to feel that warm milky skin no longer covered by fabric.

Kei’s lips traveled further down to his neck, following the tattoos, trying to taste that cyan light. The demon’s head position made an easy access to his slim neck. A curious finger lightly poked at the black horn. Demi-Fiend chuckled.

- Marogareh asks who’s knocking.

- Oh, that’s where your Magatama nests. Is this horn… sensitive?

- No, it's a thick hollow nail. Keep kissing.

Kei giggled and gladly obliged. As he marked the demon's collarbone with kisses, the hands on his waist traveled further to hips and the rhythm previously established was renewed with more fervor. Demi-Fiend now began panting, wanting to feel more of this human. His hand slipped between their bulges. Kei stopped his tracks and moaned, his shoulders trembling and hands grabbing the muscles underneath them.

Demi-Fiend more or less remembered how to do this. He squeezed the covered flesh, giving it a light tug. He couldn’t see Kei’s face from that angle, but boy did he sound messy. His neck was starting to go stiff, too, so Demi-Fiend sat and stretched it, groaning. He was met with a cutest lustful gaze he could ever imagine. The boys kissed again, as Kei’s hips jerked into the other’s hand. His own fingers traced the firm muscles of the chest, the stomach, the hips, hooking playfully around the short’s waistband. Hint received. Demi-Fiend, grinning, plopped back on the mattress and immediately jumped back shouting in pain.

- Motherf*ck- I swear, I’m gonna saw it off!

Kei stroked his poor nape as the boy groaned and just unzipped his shorts, too lazy to take them off now. While he was at it, Kei’s uniform pants were also undone. Demi-Fiend took an erection in his hand, overwhelmed by the sheer presence of this boy in all his senses. The feeling of hot pulsing body in his hands, the sweet moans, the arch of his back, accentuated by the folds of the uniform, the smell of sweat and shampoo. He needed a taste too, so he bit the exposed base of the neck, taking in the salty flavor of his gasping partner. He kept biting all over his shoulders and neck while the hand gently stroked the hardened length. Kei whined, not sure if from the pain or pleasure.

The soft fingertip touched Demi-Fiend’s lower head. He moaned quietly and looked down. It circled around gently, teasingly, sending sweet waves into the demon’s abdomen. He craved for more, but let Kei have his fun and got back to covering his pale skin with bite marks.

The second finger joined, forming a circle and jerking the shaft up and down. Kei guessed Demi-Fiend was more enthusiastic about his own actions then the boy’s attempt at teasing him, and that wouldn’t do. Demi-Fiend bit harder and moaned into the skin as Kei’s grip tightened and his moves got quicker.

Young lovers shared another kiss as they pleasured each other, the softer one. Only then it hit Demi-Fiend that every trace of his apprehension towards pleasure was gone. He really was enjoying himself in a f*cking Apocalypse. A nice stroke of a silky hand along his length knocked all the thoughts back out.

Kei looked exceptionally cute, wriggling, moaning and arching in response to his every movement, touching demonic body as if trying to carve every inch into memory. Demi-Fiend’s hands were no better, as the white shirt was already an unrecognizable mess of fabric that only covered the boy’s forearms and the lower back.

- Hey, why isn’t my name slipping now? Am I underperforming?

- N-No, you’re- You’re great, N- Ngh, Demi-Fiend. It’s just that- ah, back then I called you by the other name.

Ah, right. Kei idolized Naoki. Probably fantasized how the King of Chaos showed his human heart to him, and him alone, and unleashed the long forgotten gentleness on him, let the boy share his warmth.

“Isn’t this exactly what I’m doing now?”

His face flushed red. Kei was obsessed with him. He was a legend in Kei’s mind, not just his past self. Kei whimpered desperately, pleasuring and being pleasured by the person he admired most. By Naoki Kashima.

- Try it again.

- A-are you sure?

- No, that’s why I’m asking.

- Okay, N-Naoki. My Naoki, - Kei whispered, cupping his cheek.

The demon’s breath stopped at the words spoken. The name sounded foreign, yes, but the claim attached to it lowkey made him want to wear it again.

- Keep going.

- Naoki, I want you so bad, ah- Y-you can’t even imagine, - his legs start to tremble as the hand he dreamed of kept stroking in rhythm with his pulse. - I can’t even describe-

He didn’t need to - his trembling body did it already. He leaned backwards, giving a full view of a work that was done: shoulders and neck covered in bite marks, messy hair, shine of sweat on the chest and cheeks and the wet pulsating co*ck ready to finish. Demi-Fiend kept jerking it lovingly until Kei let out a final whine as he finished on their stomachs.

Demi-Fiend was probably close to it himself. He wasn’t sure, but the sweetness gathering in his abdomen and flowing down to his thighs got more and more prominent. His little fanboy kept showering him with kisses, squeezing the flesh, licking the trails of light, drawing out satisfied quiet moans and gasps from him.

“My little fanboy…”

The thought made him blush again. His erection responded too, twitching and sending a pleasant shockwave across his body.

Was that it? It felt nice, very nice. Demi-Fiend let out a relaxed moan and lied down, hitting his horn again, but not hard enough for it to hurt. Kei followed shortly after, sinking into Naoki’s chest and breathing in deeply.

Demi-Fiend stroked and tickled the boy’s back and got lost in thought. It was a sad thought, unfortunately, one of possible betrayal again. It would surely ruin him if such a thing happened, now that he got attached. Kei had a long journey ahead of him and there were no guarantees what trials Da’at would bring him.

- Earth to Naoki, - a peck on his chin dissipated all the forming scenarios.

- What’s up?

- It may be pretty late, but… I really, really like you, Naoki. I’ll try my best to carve a future where you’ll be happy.

The demon patted the ambitious head.

- I think I like you too, Kei. I’ll help you out.

It was a deal. Naoki would help him keep the spark in those gentle eyes.
