Recent ex employee here. My time at the comfort was short lived. Let me tell you though. The management (besides Autumn), this is about Amanda, is an absolute joke. I have a full time job that requires me to work three, twelve hour shifts a week, and every other weekend. I stated this in my interview. I've been doing this job for many years, so I know what's required of me. Well Amanda did not take me serious and only wrote down what she wanted to hear. I will be posting pictures as proof. She started scheduling me 6 days a week. Would not let me find out my other schedule, and then told me I was a liar and I was lazy, while I was waiting on someone at a table. When I was the one who found coverage for all my shifts I HAD TO GIVE UP. Extremely unprofessional. Then told other staff members that she would fight me if I kept being catty. The only things I had said about her, was that she completely disregard my availability. Then tried to write me up for cutting a table off, after the bar manager and I both agreed they needed to be cut off. Tried to say I was rude to them and etc. I was only at the table to deliver and present a bottle, because the server was under 21, was not even my table. Then after I quit and before I could walk out, she wanted me to sign a termination paper. I was not terminated, I quit. She is trying to cover her own rear end. I have to say, I wouldn't recommend this place for employment nor to dine out at.

I've heard so many good things from my fellow aviation crew members. Everyone has raved about the porkchops here, but I had already eaten a burger down the street at another restaurant. My fellow FA Nick and I had plans to meet up w/ our CA and FO for a drink. I ended up ordering an awesome blackberry margarita and the king crab stuffed mushrooms starter after browsing the menu and snacking on the strawberry butter and rolls. Unfortunately, the king crab stuffed mushrooms were not at all what I expected. They were more like cream cheese stuffed mushroom minus any kine of crab. With that said, our waitress and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I can't wait to visit this restaurant again and give those famous porkchops a taste.

Why did the head chef tell us he would accommodate us, especially when we asked for specific items?!? My husband asked to speak to the chef again. He came out & said he only had 5 for the dinner rush, in total...lol So pointless to even come talk to us in the first place. People in our party believed he was intoxicated?? I ordered a medium-rare bone-in ribeye. As the food started to finally make it's way out, they were auctioning each plate...(know your seating & pivot points ppl..) Three of us were left without orders and waited about 5 minutes. Two more plates were brought out and 2 people didn't get the correct side items. Guess who still didn't get their food? Yep, me! The only medium-rare steak.. It took about 8 mins (13 minutes total for just me) and my order finally arrived. HOWEVER, it wasn't a bone-in and was steaming in liquid causing it to upcook to about medium-well. A $50 steak and it was about 70% fat! I had to send it back and it was now, after 8pm & they close at 9. A little lady brought my order out on a huge wood board, apologizing. She was honestly very embarrassed and she turned out to be the manager. So, after all the massive confusion, people not receiving correct orders, and 3 of us waiting for our orders, she finally comes to speak to our party?? This steak was huge & finally had a bone in it, BUT it was about med/med-well. It had great flavor though and everyone was already done eating at this point, so I just didn't say anything else. The manager apologized continuously, but people were not happy with the food or service. The floors were so greasy, I almost fell going to the bathroom. They definitely need to retrain their staff and get PARKING! We won't be back.. This review does not truly express the mess we endured! Be careful about coming here and get there early. If you want medium-rare order rare and don't have your mind made up about what you want because it doesn't matter here..It's obviously management and poor training for the staff we encountered.

Cutely themed restaurant. Came for brunch on a weekend and it was fairly busy but we got seated immediately. The food was also good but the service was a bit slow.

In town only for the night. Our hotel concierge recommended this place. Boy am I glad she did. Took my beautiful wife here and Chef Anthony helped us make our food decisions. Everything was top notch.

It exceeded my expectations. The rolls with the berry butter were delicious! The sweet tea was fresh. The turkey was so tender with wonderful flavor as was the fluffy, perfectly seasoned stuffing. I would drive over an hour just so I could have this meal again. Do yourself a "flavor" and try it!

Came here for a date night with the wife. First time ever coming to the restaurant and we were both very pleased with the food, and service. It was a tad loud, but thats nothing out of the ordinary for 6pm on a Saturday evening anywhere in Evansville. I had the porkchops, and the wife had New York strip steak. Both were like butter when we cut into them. Such a great place to try, and we definitely added this to our go to restaurant list.

Food and atmosphere were fantastic! We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Went ahead and made reservations from their web page just in case. They were busy, but were able to seat us quickly.We're not familiar with downtown Evansville, but enjoyed driving up Main Street. They've done quite a bit of work to make their downtown area appealing. This restaurant is in a restored home and they've done an amazing job converting it into a restaurant.Our waiter was great. We gave service four stars instead of five, but I don't believe it was his fault. I would ask for him again without hesitation. I just believe he was given too many tables. But even then, he handled the situation well and deserved the extra tip.The food was the star, though. Can't wait to get back and try lunch and dinner, because breakfast was an absolute hit!

We worked with Niki who was very patient, answered all of our emails, calls and let us meet with her and see the room several times. Niki was awesome working with us for table arrangements, menus, set up and decor. Our event was a success and the day of staff (the GM, a manager, and our server Emily) were incredible. They were so friendly, helped us make sure we had all the serving ware, decor, storage, drinks and endless other things we needed. They made the day great. The natural decor in the owl room complimented our Under The Sea theme even though we didn’t expect it to. It was nice to have the space decorated so we could chose not to do anything else if we didn’t want to. They were flexible on the items we used to decorate and allowed us to bring in desserts. As usual. the food was excellent, all guests were happy. Parking was easy for a weekend, and the room fit our 20-25 people perfectly. It was a fantastic day!!!

This was my first time visiting COMFORT for lunch- I've only been for dinner before. I was happy with the size and selection of the lunch menu. Enough of a variety without being overwhelming, and of course that strawberry butter was delish. I ordered the meatloaf with German fries and cucumber salad. Everything was perfect! My mom ordered the chopped steak (hers came with two patties) and eggs, which she said was also delicious. We both had enough to bring home leftovers.I've never been disappointed with the food, service or cleanliness the handful of times I've eaten here.

The food was very good. Our waitress was very attentive, we went with a group of 8 and the food came out pretty quick, however, my order was somehow lost and it took a few minutes to get it straightened out.

The sandwich was so plump and juicy with the perfect amount of glaze coating. German style fries were new for me, having onions mixed it, and it was surprisingly something I would enjoy more often. If you room left for a delicious dessert, ask what's available. The Oreo Cheesecake was freshly baked when I visited and made a great To-Go for me to enjoy back at my hotel. And our server, Jemyla, was so sweet and kind!

We also had the Strawberry Cheesecake.Everything was fantastic! Ms. Lee was an exceptional server!!! Atmosphere is charming.Too bad I don't live here to come again. Servings were generous.
