All over it was very good.. We met very friendly ranger who told us about tigers and for sure it was the most amazing part of the whole zoo.. though we missed out some animals.Zoo provided us with the unlimited vehicle card but there was only one way the were following that is from start to end, once you crossed a specific stop you cannot go back with the vehicle.

Overall the Experience was good but we weren’t able to complete whole zoo and it took us 3 hrs to complete.Some basic details:1. For Battery operated vehicles: 80 for Adults and 40 for children (8yrs-12yrs).2. U can carry your water bottles but not raincoat (as it is made up of plastic).3. Other options for drinks are available inside for refreshments.4. There are 2 areas where Royal Bengal Tigers are kept. Do visit the inside one aswell as there is a beautiful lake beside it.5. Last but not the least buy the tickets beforehand online as there is no ticket counter.

It’s a big and beautiful zoo. A good place to go for an outing with kids and family.You can chose to walk on nicely paved walking paths on both sides of the road OR pay for the electric carts to take you to the points where the animal enclosures are.Entry tickets are nominal for local tourists and can be booked online and offline. Use the Delhi zoo website to book the tickets. Private operators charge much more.There are kiosks for water, soft drinks, tea/coffee, ice creams etc.They have a good initiative to stop people from leaving plastic waste - when you buy a Rs 20 Water bottle, they take Rs 40 and return the 20 when you return the bottle to them. This way people would not throw the bottle wherever they want. That’s what they THINK. ☹️. Cos there are people who get bottles from outside.But even if it stops a few people from littering it is good.Lots of animals are there and you get a good view of them subject to the time of your visit. Animals do take after lunch naps 🤩.There are proper directional markings with the name of animals that you may like to see and can follow those and eventually you will cover it all without confusion.Enjoy the place without littering and without hurting or mocking the animals. Leave a good impression on them too.I was too busy enjoying the beauty of animals that I didn’t click pictures. Go and see for yourself in real. ❤️

Very nice place for kids and no eating things are allowed inside zoo, but you can carry the milk and water bottle for kids.Book your ticket online or you can take it there also, but you can save time if you buy online. 80rs ticketThere is huge parking space 50rs car parking.I will recommend that if you are coming with kids so take battery car, for which you have to take another ticket for 70rs per person and 5years above kids 40rs.Please Avoid in summer ☀️ time.Zoo will open from 10am to evening 5pm

Very good experience with loads of greenaryMake sure to buy tickets online in advance.Battery car service is managed by third partyBut they are very frequent hence you don't have to worry hopping it late.No plastic items allowed, it's better to bring non plastic bottle or better buy it from any shop once you enter the zoo.Maps are at right places make good use of it.It's very easy to navigate through it.

Hygiene in public washroom were commendable and there was drinking water taps, public washrooms and mother dairy booth at close quarters.Please book your tickets online in advance. You can't take any kind of food inside but water bottles are allowed. There is also facility available to keep your bags.The zoo is maintained well but need to do a lot more to make it exciting and should add more animals.Can be a good dayout plan in winters with friends and family.

No food or drink items are allowed and nothing is available. You and your kids will be starved for 3-4 hours. So stuff yourself before going. The place is otherwise good and clean and well maintained. Animals are visible and use the service of electric car as far as possible.

There is no fee for children below 5 years. For ticket booking, you need to do online booking because there are no ticket counters.Overall it was a great and enjoyable trip and I'll recommend everyone who comes to Delhi to visit this zoo once.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The ticket price is 80 rupees. Outside food is not allowed. Inside the premises water, food is available in the canteen and also ice cream. Electric vehicle is also available for ferrying around the zoo. It would take approx 2 hours to roam and see all the things in the zoo. Bird collection is quite good even the owls are there. It's a must visit for tourists if you are in Delhi.

I was waiting for a long time for the zoo visit. I just got the opportunity to go to the zoo on Sunday with my family. And let me tell you the visit was worth it and it was full of enjoyment and fun. My 3 yr old toddler also enjoyed watching birds and animals closely.Located near the supreme court metro station. May take an auto to reach there.Entry ticket is of Rs 80/- for adults available both offline and online.Animals were looking malnourished mostly, maybe due to heat. Almost all the animals were there except the Giraffe. No eatables allowed . There is a canteen outside where you can enjoy your meals. Inside the zoo there are outlets of "Mother dairy" where only softy and drinks are available.Must visit with your toddlers. The best time is in winters or rainy season.

We visited on a weekday and it was not as crowded. Tickets you have to buy online which is 80 per person for adults. There is an electric cart service for 70 a person which you will get inside the zoo and can board and deboard as many times.The reptile section was a disappointment The rest of the zoo is good and makes it a decent place to visit with kids.The African elephant stands out from all the animals and is a must visit.No kind of food items are allowed inside even for kids. Inside there is no place to eat The only thing is that you can buy cold drinks that are too at limited places.

Great zoo, though international visitors beware of ticket issues!I thought the National Zoological Park had a great selection of animals, as well as lots of interesting signs describing their behaviour, diet etc.The zoo itself was also easy to get to, though be aware that when you go in, you are not allowed to bring plastic bottles.One issue we had was that we couldn’t order tickets- the mobile website would not accept multiple different foreign debit/credit cards and the other option (a qr code), required an Indian phone number. In the end we had to ask a staff member to order the tickets with their phone and then we gave them money! Keep this in mind if you only have a foreign card/phone…

Very good experience, I visited during rainy season when weather suits good for zoo animals and we would be pleased to see all of them during our 2 hours morning visit. A must place to make your kids feel happy, when they actually see the animals they are being read in their school books. I captured some good snaps and videos as a reference. One fine suggestion, if planning to visit during weekends especially on Sundays , it should be better to buy ticket online at least 2-3 days prior to avoid slot filling.

Drinking Water and Toilet facilities are available at many places but No food is allowed inside the Zoo, so eat properly before entering because there are no canteens inside the area. I would have rated this zoo as zero, atleast some animals are present. Hence, rating is one. I have visited at least 10 zoo in india and abroad, and many obvious and minimum requirements are not missing. There is no ticket counter (offline). It is compulsory to buy tickets online. No food, polythene bag allowed inside. Also, food is not sold inside. You can buy water, packet juice, ice cream etc inside zoo. How do kids and old people sustain and walk without food? Most of the places, you will see direction right side showing a list of animals in that direction. There is no information about what the left side of the road takes to. No booklet provided. No map shows 'you are here'. Zoo map says, "Follow the arrow." But that does not cover all places animals present. Animals are not in a designated cage. Most are interchanged. Maintenance is worst. Be it barricade or CCTV. At last, let me close with a positive note, water bottle are sold at Rs 40, before you go out of the campus, surrender the bottle to get refund of Rs 20. If you crush the bottle (not allowing them to reuse), then also they will refund, but you will surely listen curse from them.
